In 2018, I worked as a Business Analyst for Radia, Inc., an engineering startup based in Boulder, CO that operates at the intersection of aerospace, energy, and the environment. I used my environmental background to conduct international energy market research in fossil fuels and renewables to refine go-to-market strategy. I also performed sensitivity analyses to help the company better understand the impact of environmental factors on projected financial performance.
Because Radia is a small company, I took on significant responsibility and helped make lasting changes. In addition to my financial and environmental analysis, I also proposed operational changes to help the company run more successfully. For example, I analyzed and improved the employee benefits program and developed a new healthcare strategy to better attract job candidates. Overall, my proposed operational changes were predicted to save the company over $7,500 per year.
