In 2019, I worked as an intern in the Customer Energy Integration team at National Grid’s U.S. headquarters in Waltham, MA.
In this position, I worked with project managers to oversee the design, construction, and interconnection of Massachusetts distributed generation sites, namely solar farms.
My primary project was to pull reports from Salesforce with the data from all active projects in Massachusetts and organize them according to project manager. This project ultimately assisted my manager in redistributing the MA projects to help the team run more efficiently.
My secondary, longer-term project was to streamline the National Grid interconnection process by consolidating and organizing critical case documents and data in Salesforce for easier customer and project manager access. I also assisted managers in guiding projects through the PP5-1 process.
