Hello! My name is Julia, I am a certified hydrographer and offshore wind permitting specialist, and I am currently working as an Offshore Surveyor at Fugro USA Marine, Inc. In 2024, I received a Graduate Certificate in ocean mapping from the University of New Hampshire’s Center for Coastal and Ocean Mapping / NOAA Joint Hydrographic Center (FIG/IHO/ICA Category A-certified). Before becoming a surveyor, I worked as an Offshore Permitting Associate for Ocean Winds’ SouthCoast Wind Project, an offshore wind farm to be constructed off the coast of Massachusetts.
I have a Bachelor of Engineering in environmental engineering from Dartmouth College and Dartmouth’s Thayer School of Engineering. Some additional areas of interest for me include underwater cultural heritage and marine mammal monitoring and protection. In my free time, I love to travel, cook, SCUBA dive, and play pond hockey!
